AP/AR Manager – Glasgow (Hybrid)
Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for an AP/AR Manager with a growing international business based in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing international business in the travel sector, a dynamic industry that thrives on innovation and customer experience. As AP/AR Manager, you will have full ownership of two critical finance functions, leading a team of six and shaping the way the business manages its financial operations.

You’ll work in a multi-currency environment (UK, US, Germany) using NetSuite, and your input will directly influence efficiency and scalability as the business continues to grow. The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing AP and AR teams (6 direct reports: 1 AR, 5 AP)
Overseeing high-value, low-volume AR transactions and seasonal, high-volume AP cycles
Driving process improvements and strengthening controls within AP
Handling multi-currency transactions across UK, US, and Germany
Maintaining supplier and customer relationships and supporting audits
Using NetSuite to ensure accurate postings and reporting
The Individual:
Proven experience in AP/AR management with team leadership
Strong understanding of invoice workflows, reconciliations, and payment cycles
Skilled in process improvement and stakeholder engagement
Experience in multi-currency environments and accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
