Key Stage 1 Teacher – Mixed Year 1/2 (Part Time, Temporary)

£360.00 - £785.34 per week (based on a 3 day week)
January 2026 – July 2026
The School and Role
We are currently looking to recruit a confident and professional Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in the Northumberland, Cramlington area. This will be in a large mixed Year 1/2 class, where there is already an experienced and established Teaching Assistant. This is a large school and offers a lot of support and learning opportunities. The role will be part time, working Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and offers a lot of additional support to their supply staff. The duration of this position is currently until July, however it could extend for the right person depending on the schools circumstances.
Requirements
The desired Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally having taught in a mixed Year 1/2 class
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
5. QTS within the UK
