Technical Operations & IT Project Lead
to drive innovation across their UK and European operations.
This pivotal role bridges
engineering, IT, and operations
, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of processes, systems, and equipment from R&D through to manufacturing. You'll play a key part in deploying clinical information technologies, leading cross-functional project teams, and collaborating with senior business leaders, vendors, and service partners to deliver technology solutions that enable operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead process and technology development from lab to manufacturing scale.
* Oversee IT systems design, deployment, validation, and compliance activities.
* Manage project plans, resources, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.
* Drive process improvement, technology transfer, and equipment validation.
* Act as a bridge between business, IT, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
* Support vendor management, change control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Required
* 10+ years' leadership experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
* Proven background in process development, IT implementation, or R&D project delivery.
* Strong understanding of system validation, change control, and technology transfer.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* PMP or similar project management certification advantageous.
