Job Summary The Digital Service Delivery Director will lead and oversee the delivery of digital services across the business portfolio, ensuring alignment with Mace’s strategy and priorities. This role provides strategic leadership, operational expertise, and governance to drive innovation, efficiency, and compliance across all digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of digital service strategy and objectives across the portfolio. Define and implement operational plans, KPIs, and OKDs to achieve business outcomes. Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring compliance with reporting cycles. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Champion innovation and continuous improvement in digital service delivery. Provide executive leadership and guidance to senior teams, including succession planning. Promote health, safety, and wellbeing standards across all digital operations. Represent Mace at senior stakeholder level, influencing strategic decisions and partnerships. Commercial management and operational expertise. Advanced budgetary expertise and strategic direction setting. Skilled in client engagement, strategic partnering, and driving operational performance. Ability to lead short- and long-term strategic plans, promoting sustainable and innovative solutions. Desirable: Ability to lead transformation and change agendas for operational business areas. Industry Competencies Essential: Comprehensive expertise in digital service delivery lifecycle. Broad knowledge of property and advanced understanding of construction industry. Track record of achievement at C-Suite level and leading transformational change. Strong client engagement experience and sector relationships. Desirable: Knowledge of property sectors including residential and student accommodation. Professional Competencies Essential: Advanced communication skills, able to influence at C-Suite level. Builds professional relationships and networks. Advanced negotiation, influencing, and engagement capabilities. Champions innovation and continuous improvement. Expert written and verbal communication skills. Leadership Competencies Essential: Advanced leadership capabilities to lead business areas and portfolios. Inspiring and transformational leadership style. Strategic thinking and execution. Builds effective senior leadership teams and coaches others to reach full potential. Champions data and analytics for decision-making and drives technology adoption. Desirable: Strong track record of achieving business growth and profitability in similar portfolios. Further Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience Essential: Degree or postgraduate qualification (or equivalent). Demonstrable track record in senior leadership/director roles. Highly advanced commercial awareness and strategic acumen. Proven operational management experience in service delivery. Advanced understanding of management principles and techniques. Desirable: Experience across multiple sectors at senior leadership level. Relevant professional training/accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE).
