Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer
Required to join a leading compressed air manufacturer.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands. Earn a strong OTE with bonus, commission, regular overtime, and enhanced on-call rates.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer must have field servicing background in compressors, compressed air, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, air filtration, or similar compressed air systems. Full product training provided.
Package
* £35,000 - £40,000 plus High OTE

Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
* Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
* Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Midlands and South Wales.
* Install compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
* Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
* Earn a strong OTE with bonus, commission, regular overtime, and enhanced on-call rates.
* Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
* Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical compressed air systems.
* Experience as a compressor engineer is essential.
* The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
* Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
* Field servicing background in compressors, compressed air, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, air filtration or similar compressed air equipment. Full product training provided.
* A technical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
* Willingness to be part of the on call rota 1 in 5.
* Homebased, willing to travel across the Midlands.
