Care Assistant – Richmond Villages
Premise: Premier Court Care Home, Thorley Lane East, Thorley, Bishop's Stortford, CM23 4BH.
Salary: £12.60 – £13.60 per hour, dependent on experience.
Work pattern: Full time, 4 x 12-hour shifts, Days or Nights, alternating weekends.
Job Description
As a Care Assistant at Richmond Villages, you will provide person‑centred care that supports residents’ independence and honours choice, working within a team that upholds Bupa’s values of Bravery, Caring and Responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with a wide range of requirements, from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour, document and report changes in accordance with legislation.
* Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For
* Motivation, positivity and strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a care home or a Health and Social Care qualification.
