Metro seeks an Export Airfreight Coordinator to join our Airfreight team in Heathrow. You will be empowered to manage and operate air shipments from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage air moves from start to finish, including inland transportation and haulage.
2. Develop and build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to clients.
3. Build strong working relationships with suppliers, airlines & overseas partners/agents.
4. Input shipment and cost and sales
5. Communicate effectively with operations colleagues.
6. Create and maintain customer standard operating procedures.
7. Communication with overseas agents and clients is clear, precise and effective.
8. Accurate & timely reporting to department Manager.
9. Take ownership and accountability to deliver operational excellence.
10. A ‘can do’ attitude is applied with all communications.
