Food and Beverage Supervisor – Hastings Hotels, Northern Ireland
We value our people. You will lead and support a busy F&B team at Grand Central Hotel, working under General Manager Jake McHugh. The role is full‑time, 5 shifts a week including weekends, 35 hours per week (excluding breaks). Salary £25,480 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and support F&B team to deliver exceptional guest service.
* Ensure efficient operation of food and beverage, meeting Hastings product and service standards.
* Promote a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
* Apply quality standards, daily checking procedures and company policies for cash handling, stock control and ordering.
* Provide training and coaching to employees to deliver service in line with Hastings standards.
* Assist guests with any reasonable request for hotel services and respond to complaints.
* Maintain effective communication with other hotel departments and suppliers.
* Ensure security and hygiene compliance, and maintain fixtures and equipment to Hastings standards.
* Comply with licensing, customs and other legislation.
* Any other duties as required by Management.
Qualifications
* Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
* GCSE standard or equivalent with grades A‑C in English and Maths.
* Previous food and beverage experience – supervisory experience within a quality establishment preferred.
* Smart, well‑groomed appearance essential.
* Good communication and basic numeracy skills.
* Excellent attention to detail, work well under pressure and be a team player.
