Location: Borehamwood Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview: We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team producing bespoke systems. You'll be involved in goods in, warehouse administration, picking, packing, goods out, stock takes. This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills within a specialist manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Production and Procurement Manager Signing for, unloading, booking in and putting away 'Goods-In' Providing support to despatch to ensure customer deadlines are met Using the companies SAP Business One software system for: Goods receipt Goods despatch Ensuring the items are packed securely and safely and despatched together with the appropriate paperwork Reporting out of stock items to sales administration Updating and maintaining stock locations in the warehouse and on SAP Conducting stock takes and updating SAP accordingly Receipting repairs and processing the repair physically within the business and ensuring sales administration is fully aware of the status of the repair and the customer informed Keeping the goods in and assembly areas neat and tidy Working with production to provide support as required General maintenance and upkeep of the outside areas of the buildingExperience & Skills: Self-starter Good at prioritising workload Confident and organised Working to a high standard Asks questions to avoid mistakes Builds and maintains relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers Flexible and willing to help out to get tasks done as required Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable not essential) IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Web Willing and able to learn SAP Business One and carrier systems Located within an hour commute of the Elstree premises If you are interested in this position, please apply with a copy of your CV & a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity with you in further detail.
