Job Summary
Agincare UK is offering a permanent Care Assistant role at HMP Lewes, Eastbourne (East Dean, Langney, Hailsham, Polegate, Hampden Park, Pevensey Bay). The role allows individuals to make a significant difference in the lives of others. This position offers competitive pay (£13.15‑£14.15 per hour) with mileage compensation, no prior care experience required, and training provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to customers.
* Administer medication, perform light domestic duties, prepare meals and snacks.
* Shop for supplies and offer companionship.
* Support customers independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 12 months of right to work in the UK.
* Driving licence and own car required for the role.
* Flexible working hours between 7am and 10pm, with full‑time and part‑time options available.
* No previous care experience or qualifications required – passion, motivation, and good people skills are essential.
Benefits & Incentives
* £13.15 per hour Monday‑Friday, £14.15 per hour Saturday‑Sunday.
* 32p per mile mileage.
