Vision for Education is currently seeking Behaviour Support Assistants to work within schools across the Cirencester (GL7) area. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience supporting children or young people, whether in education, youth work, sports coaching, care, or similar settings. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll work closely with pupils who require additional support to engage positively in school life. You'll help build trusted relationships, encourage positive behaviours, and support students both inside and outside the classroom. The Role Your responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils who require additional behavioural or emotional support Building positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence Assisting students on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings Helping pupils develop social, emotional, and communication skills Working alongside teaching staff to create a positive learning environment Promoting consistency, structure, and positive behaviour strategies throughout the school day What We're Looking For We'd love to hear from candidates who are: Calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations Confident communicating with children and young people Passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their potential Able to build rapport and establish professional boundaries Adaptable and willing to work across different school settings Previous experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is beneficial but not essential.
