At Bill Plant Driving School, we're proud to be one of the UK's largest Driving Schools and leading names in driving tuition and instructor training. As a Relationship Manager, you will build lasting partnerships with our self-employed instructors, coaching them on business planning, onboarding new trainees and helping them deliver the best pupil experience. You'll work closely with our marketing, accounts, car and training teams, ensuring instructors feel valued and supported every step of the way.
What we're looking for: experience in customer service, an interest in business growth, strong communication and resilience, and confidence using Outlook and CRM systems. We care more about your people skills and passion than a degree.

What You'll Do
In this pivotal role, you'll be the main point of contact for our instructors, helping them maximise their potential as self-employed business owners. We will:
* Empower and Coach: Offering practical advice and solutions to help instructors run their businesses successfully, from pupil supply to business planning.
* Build Lasting Relationships: Forge strong, supportive partnerships with instructors through regular check-ins, business reviews, and proactive engagement.
* Onboard New Driving Instructors: Welcome and guide Potential Driving Instructors through their first six months, working closely with our Training Support Team to help them qualify, thrive and build successful businesses.
* Champion Customer Service: Resolve queries with professionalism and empathy, ensuring every instructor feels valued and supported.
* Assisting and Directing Pupil Marketing Requirements: Work proactively alongside the marketing team to establish the key areas required for pupil acquisition.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside our marketing, accounts, car and training departments to deliver a joined-up service.
* Keep Systems Up to Date: Maintain accurate information in our CRM system to ensure smooth operations across the business.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines excellent customer service skills with an understanding of what it takes to be self-employed. Ideally, you'll bring:
* Proven Customer Service Experience: A track record of building strong, positive relationships in remote customer-facing roles.
* Business Mindset: Awareness of the challenges and opportunities that running a small business or franchise can present.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Confidence in engaging with people from all backgrounds, handling complex queries with empathy and clarity.
* Resilience and Motivation: A proactive, can-do attitude with the determination to overcome challenges and deliver results.
* Tech Confidence: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and CRM systems.
* Organisation & Collaboration: Ability to juggle multiple priorities, while working seamlessly as part of a wider team.
