We're looking for an experienced and confident Senior HR Advisor to take on a standalone role, supporting one key site of a larger, multi-site organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys autonomy and variety in their work, while still being part of a wider HR team.
As the on-site HR lead, you'll be the first point of contact for all people-related matters, working closely with site leadership and reporting into the central HR team. Reporting directly to the Regional HR Business Partner, you will provide expert advice and guidance across a wide range of HR matters, while helping to drive best practice and consistency across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert HR advice to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and restructures.
* Support the HR Business Partner with the delivery of HR projects and strategic initiatives.
* Build strong working relationships with site managers to understand local needs and provide tailored HR support.
* Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives across the business.
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated in line with legislation.
* Support recruitment and onboarding processes for key roles.
* Use HR metrics and data to influence decision-making and identify trends.
* Coach and develop line managers to strengthen people management capability.
Skills & Experience:
* Strong HR advisory experience, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
* Confident handling employee relations and complex HR issues.
* Able to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity (3 days on site) offering c£40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
