Our client, a brain tumour research charity is looking for a Community Fundraiser West to play a crucial role in helping the charity achieve its strategic plans and objectives. The Community Fundraiser West will join the charity's West region, to raise awareness, generate and grow income through community fundraising activities.
Position: Community Fundraiser – West
Contract: Maternity Cover/Fixed term contract, 6 months
Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes. Hybrid working model, three days per week in the office
Salary: Circa £28,500 pa
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a difference in one of the most innovative and exciting medical research fundraising charities in the UK.
As Community Fundraiser for the West, you will help deliver strategic plans and objectives, by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities. The community fundraisers also help raise awareness by engaging people with the charity's work, and recruiting and supporting the fundraising of individuals, challenge event participants, and Fundraising Groups and Charity of the Year partnerships.

Do you have:
* Experience in community fundraising, donor management and stewardship
* Good communication skills, with the ability to converse sensitively and empathetically
