Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Location: Leeds

Job Type: Supply, Short-term Cover, Long-term Cover (for the right candidate)

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and nurturing primary school in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with special educational needs, supporting their learning and development in a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
* Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to monitor and report on student progress.
* Engage with parents and carers to provide updates on student development and address any concerns.

Requirements:

* Flexibility to work in supply, short-term, and potentially long-term cover roles.
