Category Manager
£55-58k + benefits
Southeast office (hybrid 2d per week)
Our client:
* Is a renowned FMCG food manufacturer boasting a range of iconic brands.
* Manufacture a mix of own label and branded products.
* Employs thousands within the UK and promotes a culture of progression and promoting within.
* Is now seeking a Category Manager to join their team!
The role:
* You will take full ownership for the category strategy and development plans with your customers.
* As Category Manager you will define and implement Category Growth drivers with both Internal and External Stakeholders
* Will use various data tools such as Kantar and Nielsen
* Cross functional collaboration will be key to success in this role – working with NPD, Sales and Marketing to support future growth initiatives based on Category Insights
* Building category relationships with key retail partners
* Developing and leading the strategic category vision
* Influencing Range Reviews & Category Performance Reviews
Ideal candidate:
* 3+ years FMCG experience in category management
* Can demonstrate a track record of success with retail customers
* May already be a Category Manager or Category Executive looking to move to a new and exciting category
