Consumer Additions are currently partnering exclusively with a premium fashion brand to recruit a Accounts Assistant to join their team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Distribution of invoices to cost centre managers,
* obtaining approvals in line with delegation of approval matrix.
* Inbox maintenance as well as supplier relationship management.
* Posting, Matching and cost assigning freight invoices Posting invoices inclusive of Stock through NAV PO system.
* Supplier statement reconciliations – maintaining an 80% coverage of all suppliers and 100% of top 20 suppliers.
* Weekly multi-currency payments to suppliers both BACS & TT, including sending remittances to suppliers.
* Adherence to Accounts Payable processes and compliance Filing and distributing mail, with clear and auditable tracking of invoice copies Assisting with the auditors’ queries around accounts payable Credit card expenses processing – in line with regulatory requirements Employee expenses processing – in line with regulatory requirements Petty cash and till float management (Experience using Equals cashless prepaid debit cards a bonus) Assisting with analysis on AP ledgers as requested GRNI analysis, and management working with warehouse to ensure stock is GR’d in a timely fashion Assisting with the HMRC publication of payment days per new statutory requirements
* The ideal candidate should create time to undertake other tasks and assist other areas of Finance (Credit Control, Management Accounts, Senior Finance Manager) Rotation within the finance team after 18-24 months.
Key Requirements:
* A good understanding of AP processes
* Good excel skills: minimum requirement VLOOKUP and basic pivot tables
* Self-motivated
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to deal with all levels in the organisation
* Mathematical and analytical mind
* Good organisational skills
* French or Japanese speaker an advantage
* Degree in Business/Finance
* ACCA registered & part qualified
* Experience in SAP Concur invoice processing and SAP Concur expenses management
* Successful completion of internal assessment (excel and accountancy-based exam)
* Competent in working in Microsoft excel, PowerPoint & Word.
