As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one with:

* Market-competitive base salary of £45,370, with the opportunity to increase your earnings up to £57,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime.
* Full-time 40-hour week with Monday–Saturday availability (8am–8pm) for flexibility and stability.
Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime
* After your first month, choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you £3,000 more per year!

What We’re Looking For:
You’re someone who gets people. This isn’t just about spanners and engines—our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC—you are the RAC. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what we’re all about.
You like mixing things up. Every day’s a little different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. But it doesn’t stop there: you’ll manage your stock, do your reporting, and keep those customer conversations flowing.
You think on your feet. You’ll be trusted to make the right call for each customer, facing different fixes, different faces, and new challenges every day.
What You’ll Need:
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
