PE Global is currently recruiting for a Medical Operations & Governance Senior Manager for a contract role with a leading multinational Biotech client based in Uxbridge – hybrid.
Job Responsibilities
🔹 Medical Grants
* Own the full lifecycle of IMED & Medical Scientific Grants
* Lead Grant Review Committee (GRC) coordination and governance
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
* Monitor grant KPIs, cycle times, and budget utilization
* Maintain inspection-ready documentation at all times.
🔹 Governance & Compliance
* Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ensure funding activities meet regulatory requirements
* Support audit readiness and transparency reporting where applicable
* Drive continuous improvement of SOPs, templates, and workflows
🔹 Medical Affairs Operations
* Support Medical planning cycles, dashboards, and KPI tracking
* Assist with budget monitoring and variance analysis
* Coordinate operational rhythm (meetings, pre-reads, action tracking)
* Improve systems, tools, and document governance processes
🔹 Patient Engagement Operations
* Provide structured operational support for Patient Engagement initiatives
* Ensure alignment with global standards and documentation requirements
Requirements
* 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Medical Grants, Medical Affairs Operations, or Medical Governance.
* Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in medical funding.
* Proven project management and operational excellence capabilities.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across Medical, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
* Highly organized with strong analytical and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with the ability to leverage AI enabled tools to enhance efficiency, data handling, and workflow optimisation.
* Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
