Key information:
* 6 month FTC with strong potential to extend another 6 months and then perm
* Title: Operational Risk Partner
* Salary: Up to £105k base
* Hybrid working: 2 days in the London office 3 from home
Purpose of the role
To support management in the implementation of the operational risk management framework and provide expert knowledge and guidance to business units and group functions on all elements of operational risk. To work collaboratively in a relationship management approach, successfully implementing the framework elements and promoting a culture of clear ownership, accountability and responsibility for Operational Risk Management.
The ideal candidate will have subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
* Business Continuity/Operational Resilience
* Third Party Management
* Transaction/Payments Processing
Skills & Experience
Essential
* 5+ years experience of working within Operational Risk within Banking (or broader Financial Services)
* Provable experience of doing deep dives into the 3 aforementioned risk areas from a 2nd line perspective
* Strong analysis skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Sound reporting skills – ability to translate data into insight.
* Excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills with the ability to engage with colleagues of all levels across the organization and able to draft reports to senior leaders and Executive Committees.
