Robert Half is partnering with a client based in Manchester City Centre and looking to appoint a Management Accountant. The organisation has seen huge growth and needs a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to play a key role in ensuring smooth finance operations.
Interim assignment - 4 months+
1. Prepare and maintain accurate management accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
2. Analyse financial data to support decision-making and provide actionable insights.
3. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to enhance financial planning.
4. Reconcile accounts and oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely submissions.
6. Manage cash flow and provide recommendations for financial optimisation.
7. Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting and finance function.
A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:
9. Proven experience in management accounting within the business services industry.
10. Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to financial data.
11. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
12. A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
13. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
