Senior Quantity Surveyor
The successful individual will have a number of years relevant quantity surveying experience gained in the civil engineering, structural engineering, heavy civils, infrastructure, construction or rail sectors. Hybrid working is available, with an estimated three days working in the Greater Manchester office and two days working from home.
Overview
Due to continued expansion, an abundant pipeline of works, and the recent award of a number of long-term contracts, our client is now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure commercial and contractual control and co-ordination of the efforts of all parties involved in the execution of assigned projects. You will provide support and assistance to other teams, and Directors and Managers on all aspects relating to commercial activity.
The Role
In conjunction with the relevant project management and commercial team members, be accountable for the profitability of projects, and assist in the development of an appropriate commercial strategy for schemes to ensure delivery of required margins
