Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care (Duty Service)
A local authority service in Croydon is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Community Duty Team. The role focuses on high-quality, fast-paced triage and prioritisation of Occupational Therapy referrals within a busy duty environment.
Main Duties:
Undertake daily duty functions with senior staff including triaging, prioritising and allocation of Occupational Therapy referrals
Provide timely updates, feedback and case direction
Support risk management and waiting list management
Manage a fast-paced caseload within a high-pressure environment
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Contribute to service delivery and quality assuranceRequirements:
Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy
HCPC Registration
Strong experience in screening, triage and prioritisation
Experience working with adults in community settings
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Enhanced DBS/CRB (support available)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirableBenefits:
