Job Title: Oracle Functional Consultant
My client is seeking to recruit an Oracle Functional Consultant on an initial 10-month contract for a Financial Services client based in London. It is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week.
The role serves as the key functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12, responsible for implementing, improving, monitoring, and maintaining the banks Oracle financial application systems (including Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and E-Business Tax modules) to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity. The consultant will also provide functional support to end users.
This position requires knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing day-to-day support, rollouts, and enhancements for Oracle E-Business Financial Modules, with a primary focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payables, and Fixed Assets for the EMEA region.
2. Participating in project scope, design, configuration, testing, documentation, and production support duties.
3. Supporting all Oracle-related interfaces.
4. Providing training to business users.
Skills Required:
* Demonstrable experience with full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Financials, mainly General Ledger, Payables, and Assets.
* System implementation and production support experience preferred.
* Knowledge of SQL.
* Ability to collaborate with various levels of business users, IT staff, and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
