Are you eager to start a career within property? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Property Manager to join a successful estate agents based in Liverpool City Centre. This role has become available due to company growth and expansion, full training will be provided for this role.
Full UK Driving license is required for this role.
Property managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of tenanted properties, including dealing with maintenance requests, renewal of tenancies, periodic inspections, conducting move-in and move-out inventories, and handling deposit returns/disputes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring all move-out paperwork is completed promptly, sent to the landlord with recommendations for deductions and further works, and followed up within deposit return timelines, while keeping tenants updated.
2. Preparing properties for occupation before move-in dates to minimize disruptions.
3. Managing maintenance requests efficiently, keeping landlords and tenants informed.
4. Liaising with contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
5. Ensuring deposits are returned within required timescales, de-registering deposits on the ‘Tenancy Dispute Service’ website, and ensuring only deposits held are registered to minimize costs.
6. Conducting mid-term inspections.
7. Carrying out move-in and move-out inventories.
Experience is desirable but not essential:
* Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
