Role: Director of Medical Technology, Business Development
Location: St. Ives, Cambridge (with international travel)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
* Cultivate a business pipeline with potential annual value of circa £5m, focusing on medical devices, diagnostics, and life sciences instruments.
* Establish and nurture relationships with new clients and industry influencers.
* Deepen existing strategic account relationships, collaborating across teams.
* Tailor client solutions aligned with strategic objectives through close collaboration with the technical team.
* Drive negotiations and close significant long-term partnerships.
About You:
* Demonstrated success in business development and sales of consultancy services.
* Degree in Physics, Engineering, Electronics, or Business-related fields.
* Established professional with credible standing within the Cambridge cluster or similar ecosystems
* Deep knowledge of product development within the medical technology, healthcare or life sciences sectors.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
* Motivated, autonomous, with a proven ability to drive business growth.
