Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for two Senior Family Workers to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

Step into a role where every day brings the chance to transform a child’s future. As a Senior Family Worker, you’ll lead meaningful, structured interventions that support children returning home or moving into long-term care with Special Guardians.

In this role, you will:
4. Lead structured, purposeful interventions that place each child’s voice at the centre of decision-making.
5. Deliver evidence-based practice aligned with Stockton’s Reunification Policy.
6. Complete a number of different assessments within agreed timescales and contribute to high-quality multi-agency planning.
7. Carry out regular 4–6-week reviews to keep reunification plans on track.
8. Provide emotional and practical support to Special Guardians and connected carers.
9. Work flexibly across Social Care and Early Help services.
10. Conduct home visits, deliver direct work sessions, participate in and chair a number of different meetings and reviews, and maintain high-quality recordings.

We have two roles on offer:
11. Full time post of 37 hours £32,061 - £33,699
12. Part time post of 25 hours £21,663 - £22,770 actual salary
