Interim People and Culture Manager, 3 months - Housing Sector - Essex with hybrid working - £250 per day
This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available HR Manager to oversee HR operations for a reputable organization providing essential housing services.
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will provide pragmatic guidance and support across the full spectrum of HR services, including employee relations, policy, recruitment, training, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead advisor on HR policy, employment law, and people processes
* Provide advice on employee relations issues such as investigations, absence, performance, and disciplinary matters
* Support and coach line managers to enhance their people management capabilities
* Oversee HR systems maintenance (e.g., People HR)
* Coach and upskill the HR Assistant
Ideal candidates will be experienced HR Managers with strong operational skills, including tackling absence management, improving retention, coaching managers, and working with HR systems. A solid knowledge of employment law and line management experience are essential. Experience in housing, repairs, or similar environments is preferred.
