Laboratory Technician

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Laboratory Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to test materials samples while ensuring compliance with UKAS and quality standards. An interest in laboratory testing and materials science is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* Preparing, testing and disposing of construction materials samples
* Completing test sheets, calculations and reports
* Maintaining equipment calibration and documentation
Qualifications
To be a successful Laboratory Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
* Laboratory testing experience with SHE/quality procedures knowledge
* Strong attention to detail and teamwork ability
