Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily SMT, THT and assembly operations to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
• Maintain smooth workflow, efficient scheduling and zero WIP across production areas.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen and waste reduction.
• Ensure adherence to IPC standards and resolve quality issues in collaboration with engineering and QA.
• Provide technical leadership across SMT, THT, AOI, soldering and functional test processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, minimise downtime and lead process optimisation.
• Support machine capability upgrades, automation improvements and Industry 4.0 implementation.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors, line leaders and operators.
• Deliver clear reporting on KPIs, performance and improvement actions.
• Contribute to long‑term operational strategy and site growth.
Essential Requirements
• Degree in Electronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Ten or more years’ experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least five years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of SMT, THT, PCBA and testing processes.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and zero WIP principles.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience using ERP/MES systems and production KPIs.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex industrial activities.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in high‑mix, low‑ to medium‑volume manufacturing.
Desirable Requirements
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, automation and digital transformation.
• Experience working with machine suppliers, automation partners and new equipment commissioning.
• Background in driving cost‑per‑unit reduction and productivity improvements.
