Your Role
Stockport Council has a rare and exciting opportunity to work within the Commercial Contracts Legal Team. You'll work within a friendly and supportive team with two colleagues, in a supportive environment where your professional development will be nurtured and appreciated. You will be an integral part of our award winning Legal Team which is made up of 50 colleagues across five different legal sub-teams, each delivering their own area of expertise.
* The successful candidate will be a key and valued member of the Commercial Contracts team adding value and support to them on a day-to-day basis.
* You will be asked to primarily review, draft and amend commercial contracts, run your own matters, work with STAR Procurement and liaise with an advise client officers across the Council, its subsidiary companies and elected members.
* Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence but this can only be used for certain roles and this campaign does not currently qualify.
