The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) including New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining products and programs. This role is critical in ensuring business performance plans are achieved through development and sustainment of robust manufacturing processes and product quality. Responsible for driving focused continuous improvement for process controls, yield improvements and improved productivity. Key responsibilities of the role Develop manufacturing processes and controls to improve quality and product throughput, and reduce cost. Identify and implement solutions. Applying lean principles to identify and reduce waste, and optimise processes. Carrying out risk mitigation through the use of APQP and PPAP techniques. Assist in the definition of manufacturing facilities and equipment requirements providing support for the introduction of new facilities and equipment.
