We are currently recruiting a CACHE Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Newcastle upon Tyne, working within the 0–2 year old room. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Position: CACHE Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Room: 0–2 Years
Hours: Full-time (8:30–4:30)
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
* Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–2 years
* Support early learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
* Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for babies and young toddlers
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities
* Support children’s personal care routines, including feeding, sleep, and nappy changing
* Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
* Maintain accurate observations and learning records
What We’re Looking For
* CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with babies or children aged 0–2 years desirable
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
* Caring, patient and nurturing approach
* Reliable with strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
