Description Key responsibilities and duties: Manage end-to-end lifecycle of stores inventory in line with business and regulatory requirements. End-to-end management of Direct Supplier & Sub Contract Orderbooks Liaise with finance to close out supplier invoice queries SIOP process management Supply Chain Planning/Forecasting Inventory management and reporting Source approved suppliers for out of stock items, in line with business targets Develop, monitor and report on stock availability Develop tools, Monitor and report on Supplier performance and drive through any required improvement actions. Identify any potential shortages and drive effective actions to mitigate shortages Comply with all risk assessment and internal procedures when handling, packing, storing and shipping Dangerous Goods. Develop, Monitor and Adhere to financial KPI’s as per business requirements ERP System part parameter maintenance Liaise with Engineering and Technicians to ensure stock is to the current modification standard Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement and identify cost reduction opportunities Ensure that the good housekeeping practice is maintained within area of responsibility. Attend training and on-the-job training in support of your role within the Supply Chain. Attend internal meetings as require and take accountability for actions where appropriate. Carry out any further activities in support of the business as required and reasonably requested. Work with relevant BU’s directing parts to the appropriate production areas or sub-contract suppliers. Work with Procurement & Customer Service team(s) to receive/despatch material between Vector Aerospace and Customer/Suppliers. Work with Operations to ensure correct, on-time delivery to support business requirements. Professional Qualifications/Education and Training: Familiarity with quality procedures (e) Dangerous Goods – or willingness to attend Dangerous Goods training and be prepared to pack Dangerous Goods should the need arise.
