We are looking for an experienced CSA Supervisor to join our critical data centre project in Slough, Reading. Part of the Dussmann Group of companies based out of Berlin, STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental & Quality practices. This position will play a major role in the successful, safe, and quality delivery of complex internal fit‑out scopes within a live, mission‑critical environment.
Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior CSA Supervisor with over 20 years of hands‑on experience in construction, specifically in the detailed fit‑out works required for high‑specification data centres. The successful applicant will be the leading authority on‑site for all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) internal finish elements.
Key Tasks
* Lead and manage all day‑to‑day site activities for CSA fit‑out subcontractors, ensuring works are executed safely, to the required quality standard, and on schedule.
* Inspect and verify the quality of installations for critical elements such as raised access floors, internal partitioning, and fire‑rated assemblies, ensuring full compliance with design drawings and QA/QC requirements.
* Coordinate access, logistics, and sequencing of trades (especially M&E) to minimise interface clashes and maintain progress in a highly constrained live data centre environment.
* Witness and sign off on subcontractor quality checks and testing (e.g., floor level surveys, wall plumbness, door integrity checks).
* Monitor and report daily progress against the project schedule.
Key Qualifications Required
* Extensive practical experience (20+ years) within the construction industry, with a demonstrable focus on high‑specification commercial or industrial fit‑outs.
* Proven experience supervising installations of white wall/partitioning raised access floors, and certified fire doors/assemblies, ideally within Data Centre or highly regulated environments.
* Relevant trade qualification, construction management certification, or equivalent practical experience.
* Exceptional knowledge of quality control procedures (ITPs) and safety regulations (HSE).
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractor teams simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and implement complex architectural and structural drawings/specifications.
