Job Opportunity: Specialist Nurse for Adult Support and Protection
Due to the ongoing development of the role and service requirements, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Specialist Nurse for Adult Support and Protection to work alongside the current team within Aberdeenshire HSCP.
We seek a motivated registered nurse with a genuine interest in Adult Support and Protection and all areas of Public Protection.
The post covers the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership Area. The successful applicant will enhance the capacity to deliver the required services, supporting the NHSG Public Protection Team and AHSCP Adult Protection Network from Monday to Friday. They will also play a key role in raising the profile and leading the ASP agenda across health services in Aberdeenshire, as well as supporting and developing multi-agency working.
The post holder should have in-depth knowledge and experience of policy and legislation underpinning contemporary adult protection practice, with recent application to practice.
* Essential: Registered Nurse or Midwife, with a first-level degree or relevant qualifications.
* Essential: 5 years post-qualifying experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
