Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Kitchen & Bathroom Sales Advisor who's as passionate about great leadership as we are.

Location: Jewson, 2, Off Wagonway Rd, Alnwick, NE66 1QR.

Hours: 07:30am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 12:00pm every other Saturday

Key Responsibilities

Identify and win new business opportunities through personal outreach and leads generated by the branch, demonstrating active follow-up to convert these into new accounts.
Maintain and grow both new and existing customer relationships to maximise their lifetime value through fostering long-term relationships and building trust, in order to understand and deliver their current and future requirements.
Understand our approach to pricing and seek out ways to maximise margin in a credible way.
Provide advice on products and solutions with a key focus on the core K&B range
Foster and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with Suppliers, identifying and maximising on beneficial trading opportunities.
Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required.
Continually develop your knowledge of product lines, market trends and competitor offering to meet customer needs.
Carry out site/home visits to take accurate measurements, ensuring precision in all design plans.
Develop K&B product knowledge and competence across all branch colleagues.
Maintain excellent standards within the K&B Centre.
Be the first point of contact to resolve challenging situations, customer complaints or feedback in the K&B Centre.
Adhere to all company practice and policy, especially in relation to health and safety, compliance and business controls.
Be confident in using our systems to ensure transactions and processes, including key admin activities, are carried out with a high degree of accuracy.
Maximise our technology solutions to deliver great levels of communication and service including creation of detailed CAD drawings and expert design solutions.
Develop skills so you can multi-task and be deployed across all areas of the branch, carrying out reasonable activities as requested.

Required Skills And Experience

Proven selling experience within a Kitchen and/or Bathroom Showroom; generating sales leads, converting leads to orders and negotiating prices.
CAD (or similar) design skills along with the ability to interpret a customer's brief and deliver as required.
Relevant market and product knowledge.
Track record of creating and sustaining strong customer-centric culture.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Track record of achieving sales and efficiency targets.
Understanding of what makes a great customer journey and ability to create sales opportunities which leverage cross-selling opportunities whilst exceeding customer expectations.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and ability to use data to drive business improvement.
Drivers licence.
