Tax Manager - UK / US Private Client We are working with a leading London-based accountancy firm that is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager or Manager to join its well-established UK/US Expatriate Tax team. The team supports UK and US individuals and businesses based away from home, helping them manage their tax compliance and advisory needs across both jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialist team with deep technical expertise and a strong cooperative culture. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of up to 150 UK/US private clients Delegating work to junior team members and consulting with Directors where required Preparing, reviewing and overseeing UK and US personal tax returns Demonstrating up-to-date knowledge of UK and US tax legislation Providing technical guidance to staff and resolving complex technical issues Contributing to technical development and supporting client pitches where required Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development Taking responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of work The successful candidate will have: Dual qualification (Enrolled Agent / ATT) Experience preparing, reviewing and filing UK and US tax returns Strong client-facing experience within an accountancy practice Demonstrated management, coaching or mentoring experience Proficiency with UK and US tax software and MS Office A cooperative and proactive approach, with a passion for UK/US tax What's on offer: Permanent role within a highly regarded UK/US tax team Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Exposure to complex and interesting private client work Supportive environment with clear progression opportunities If you are a UK/US tax professional at Assistant Manager or Manager level considering your next step, we would be keen to speak with you.
