EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) – Nursery Setting West Derby, Liverpool (L13) Full-Time | September Start Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.00 per day (DOE) Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the West Derby (L13) area of Liverpool, who are seeking a qualified Level 3 (or above) EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within their nursery provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in children’s development during their formative years. The Role Supporting the class teacher across a busy nursery setting within a primary school Delivering high-quality support in line with the EYFS framework Assisting with planning and leading engaging, play-based learning activities Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Observing, tracking, and reporting on children’s progress Supporting personal care routines where required Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met Ideal Candidate Holds a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years (essential for staff ratio requirements) Has recent experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development Passionate about supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing Patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable Excellent communication and teamwork skills Confident supporting across the classroom and working proactively Why Work Through Teaching Personnel?
