We're supporting a well-established manufacturing client in North Lanarkshire in their search for a highly organised Supply Chain Planner to join their growing supply chain team.

What you'll be doing:
Convert weekly production requirements into material call-offs and purchase requisitions.
Manage and maintain production schedules in line with customer demand and stock targets.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and resolve any delays or shortages.
Monitor and manage material stock levels to ensure availability while avoiding overstocking.
Regularly review safety stock levels, order quantities, and lead times.
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
Prepare and present regular updates on material availability, stock levels, and supplier performance.
Use data to forecast material needs based on demand trends and usage history.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a planning / scheduling / material control role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP.
Confident Excel user and data-driven decision-maker
Proactive communicator, comfortable working across departments and with suppliers
