Job Description
Robert Half Ltd are working with an organisation based in Abingdon that are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join them on a temporary basis. Reporting to a senior payroll lead, you will support payroll delivery, reconciliation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and process payroll data accurately and on time
* Validate calculations and support final payroll checks
* Complete monthly variance reconciliations and reporting
* Act as a key contact for HR and employee payroll queries
* Build strong relationships with HR to support a collaborative approach
* Maintain compliance with payroll policies and controls
* Assist with improving and documenting payroll processes
Skills & Experience
* Experience in payroll or finance administration
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator with stakeholder-facing experience
* Proficiency in payroll systems and Excel
