We’re seeking a forward-thinking Demand Planning Manager to lead the S&OP demand planning process that will ensure consumers get the products they love, when they want them. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic FMCG environment that values agility, collaboration and data-driven excellence.
In this role you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end demand planning cycle, collaborating across Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver accurate, insight-led forecasts that support both growth and efficiency. Your work will directly influence decision-making, optimise inventory and enhance customer satisfaction across a portfolio of market-leading food products.
Day to day you’ll lead the S&OP demand planning process, build and maintain short and long-term demand forecasts using advanced statistical tools and market insights. Partner with commercial teams to factor in promotional, NPD and seasonal demand whilst analysing forecast accuracy, identify variance drivers and drive continuous improvement. Support the evolution of planning systems, reporting and analytics capabilities and enhance cross-functional collaboration to reduce waste and optimise stock availability.
We’re looking for a strategic, commercially astute planner who thrives in the fast-moving world of food manufacturing.
You will bring:
* Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis within the FMCG or food sector.
* Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel, data modelling and forecasting systems.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to deliver under pressure in an evolving environment.
This role is commutable from: Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Middlesex, North London and Berkshire
