Environmental Services Assistant Manager – Nights
Location: Liverpool ONE, 5 Wall Street, Liverpool
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (shift pattern will be discussed during interview)
Salary: £43, per annum
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our Environmental Services team on the night shift at Liverpool ONE. This is a key role where you'll take responsibility for delivering high standards across cleaning and waste operations, ensuring the estate is safe, compliant and ready for the day ahead.
You'll lead and support a team of Team Leaders and Operatives, driving performance, maintaining service standards and creating a positive and productive working environment.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Leading and managing the night Environmental Services team across cleaning and waste operations
2. Ensuring high standards are consistently delivered in line with Service Level Agreements
3. Managing staffing levels, resources, equipment and schedules
4. Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance checks
5. Supporting team development through coaching, performance reviews and engagement
6. Ensuring all health, safety and environmental standards are met
7. Liaising with stakeholders, brand partners and internal teams
8. Supporting incident management and acting as Silver Command when required
What We're Looking For
9. Proven leadership experience, ideally within cleaning, waste or facilities management
10. Ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve performance targets
11. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
12. Experience working in fast-paced environments (retail, shopping centres, hospitality or similar)
13. Knowledge of health and safety practices (IOSH, COSHH, WAMITAB desirable)
14. Confident communication and reporting skills
15. Comfortable working night shifts
