This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role working across various departments on site. You'll play a key part in supporting the recycling operation and ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.
Previous experience in a similar working environment would be advantageous...
Roles and responsibilities:
* Working on the sorting belt to separate recyclable materials
* Carrying out general cleaning duties, including cleaning down machinery and work areas
* Assisting with the basic maintenance and upkeep of machinery (e.g., clearing blockages, reporting faults)
* Supporting different departments as required depending on workload
* Following all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
* Ensuring materials are handled and processed correctly
* Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For:
* Someone health & safety conscious with good awareness of site rules
* A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
* Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment
* Previous recycling or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
Shifts / pay rates :
* Monday to Friday: £13.17 per hour
* Saturday: £19.75 per hour
* Sunday: £26.34 per hour
* You will be required to work 5 days out of 7, to which two of those will be Saturday and Sunday, every week. Flexibility on your two days off in the week, to be discussed upon interview.
