Job Description: Night Manager
Night Shift - Tuesday to Saturday 02:00 – 10:00
£40,000 Per annum
About the role:
Joining us as a Depot Manager, you’ll manage the night shift operation in the depot, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of newspapers and magazines to our retailers.
This challenging role within our management team involves:
* Supervising all staff, providing training and coaching, and identifying training needs.
* Providing accurate reports highlighting challenges or successes.
* Collaborating with the management team to identify potential risks.
* Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times.
* Ensuring compliance with legislation and company policy.
* Managing an annual set budget and forecast.

About You:
You should have a proven track record in a warehouse management environment and be able to demonstrate:
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Managing large operations and liaising at all levels.
* Outstanding communication skills and relationship-building abilities with team members and management.
* Experience planning and executing night operations, handling issues as they arise.
* Tenacity and an effective approach to meeting/exceeding targets and delivering excellent client service.
* Computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office and IT systems.
* Strong business acumen with commercial and financial awareness.
