Day to Day
* Understand customer requirements
* Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all processes, procedures, and legislation
* Deliver on key performance indicators
* Report and interpret analytical data
* Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis following screening
* Assist team members to achieve work objectives
* Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
The Essentials
* Minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade 4) or above, including Chemistry, Mathematics, and English
* Hold an A‑level or equivalent in Chemistry or a closely related scientific subject, with emphasis on chemical principles and laboratory practice
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with a willingness to learn
* Client‑focused approach with a solution‑oriented mindset
* Excellent communication skills
* Computer literate
* Ability to plan and organise own work area
