The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our supported living service. You will play a key role in leading and motivating a team of support workers, ensuring excellent care delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and support a team of support staff
* Ensure the delivery of person‑centred care tailored to individual needs
* Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation
* Promote independence, choice, and inclusion for service users
* Act as a point of contact for families, professionals, and external agencies
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies
* Participate in staff training, recruitment, and performance management
* Assist in rota planning and service coordination
Requirements
* Previous experience in a supported living or social care setting
* Proven experience in a leadership or senior support role
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential
* NVQ Level 5 (or willingness to work towards) – desirable
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to lead by example and inspire a team
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
