SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Heywood | £95-£125 per day
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support for pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The role may involve one-to-one support or working with small groups to help pupils engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing personalised support to pupils with special educational needs
Assisting the teacher in delivering structured and engaging lessons
Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
