Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Accrington
1:1 Role | Full-Time | Start ASAP
Pay: £90–£105 per day
A mainstream primary school in Accrington is looking for a dedicated ASD Specialist TA to support a KS1 pupil with an EHCP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing consistent 1:1 support
* Using visual supports, social stories & sensory strategies
* Encouraging communication and independence
* Working closely with the class teacher and external agencies
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong experience supporting pupils with Autism
* Team Teach training (or willingness to complete it via TP)
* Patient, warm and structured approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
