Role Overview
Part‑Time Finance Manager for a luxury hotel on the Isle of Wight. 30 hours per week, hybrid working with occasional office days, salary circa £50 000 pro‑rata plus bonus.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce monthly management accounts with detailed P&L analysis across rooms, food & beverage, and other revenue streams.
* Deliver insightful financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
* Own budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Analyse key hospitality KPIs to support profitability.
* Manage cash flow and oversee weekly payment runs.
* Maintain strong internal controls, including stock and POS audits.
* Oversee payroll (outsourced) and ensure compliance with HMRC and Tronc regulations.
* Prepare statutory accounts and manage VAT/PAYE submissions.
* Liaise with external stakeholders including accountants, banks, and advisors.
About the Candidate
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE) is preferred.
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within hospitality, leisure or a multi‑revenue business.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders.
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational setting.
* Can commute from mainland; living on the Isle of Wight is convenient; subsidised accommodation available if required.
